Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the time of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd built on this victory and subsequently went on a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her adversaries in the very first round in each fight. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd returned from her defeat through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round, via a TKO. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move to the weight class of Bantamweight following her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her by KO in the 2nd round. In her last fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came during UFC Fight Night 118 when she was up against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina, and used ground-and-pound to take the win via TKO during the second round. The dominance of her continued, and she scored an impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger within the first minute and was awarded the night bonus. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's first big fight. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a rematch, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
